Every February, Hackensack's local businesses pull out all the stops for Sweetheart Days — a multi-day celebration of love, community, and the unique charm of our Northwoods hometown. From romantic dinners to sweet gift shopping, Sweetheart Days is your invitation to skip the chain stores and celebrate Valentine's Day the Hackensack way.

Participating restaurants offer special prix fixe menus, local shops feature exclusive discounts and gift packages, and businesses across town run sweetheart contests, giveaways, and festive experiences. Whether you're celebrating with a partner, a best friend, or treating yourself — there's something for everyone this Valentine's weekend.

    Gates Open & Vendor Market Begins Browse 50+ local artisan, craft, and business booths throughout Downtown.
  2. 11:00 AM
    Opening Ceremony & Live Music Kicks Off Welcome remarks from Chamber leadership followed by the first Main Stage performance.
  3. 12:00 PM
    Lunchtime Food Truck Rally Sample dishes from 10+ food trucks parked along First Street — something for every palate.
  4. 1:30 PM
    Kids Zone Activities Peak Hours Bounce houses, face painting, and a scavenger hunt for the little ones.
  5. 3:00 PM
    Community Raffle & Prize Drawing Chamber raffle with prizes donated by local businesses. Must be present to win.
  6. 4:30 PM
    Headline Performance Live headline act on the Main Stage — details to be announced soon.
  7. 6:00 PM
    Event Close Thank you for celebrating with us — see you next year!
